How to Set Up Your Email Support Channel

Setting Up Email Support


Email is the most common support channel. Kamili Help Desk provides each organization a dedicated support email address and can also forward from your existing address.


Option A: Use Your Kamili Support Address

Your workspace automatically gets a support email at support@[your-org].helpdesk.kamililabs.com. Customers emailing this address create tickets automatically.


Option B: Forward From Your Domain

  • Go to Settings > Channels > Email
  • Click "Add Email Address"
  • Enter your support email (e.g., support@yourcompany.com)
  • Add the provided forwarding rule to your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
  • Send a test email to verify the connection

  • Email Threading

    Kamili automatically threads replies into existing conversations using subject lines and in-reply-to headers. Customers see a normal email conversation while your agents work from the unified inbox.


    Custom Email Templates

    Customize the look of outbound emails under Settings > Channels > Email > Templates. Add your logo, brand colors, and footer text.
