What Counts as an AI Operation?

  • AI Copilot suggestion: 1 operation per agent response assisted
  • Auto-categorization: 1 operation per ticket categorized
  • AI Chatbot turn: 1 operation per chatbot response (not per conversation)
  • Sentiment analysis: 1 operation per message analyzed
  • Article suggestion: 1 operation per suggestion batch

  • Monitoring Usage

    Track your AI usage under Settings > AI > Usage Dashboard:

  • Current period usage vs. quota
  • Breakdown by feature
  • Usage trends over time
  • Per-agent usage

  • What Happens at the Limit?

    AI never fully shuts off. Instead, it degrades gracefully:

  • At 90%: Admins see a usage warning banner
  • At 100-120% (grace buffer): Full AI continues working
  • After grace period: AI features slow down but still work:
  • - Copilot suggestions have a 5-10 second delay

    - Auto-categorization uses keyword matching

    - Chatbot uses knowledge base search without generative responses

    - Sentiment analysis pauses
